She's home, folks! Kris was able to leave the hospital this afternoon around 12, although her doctor offered her a longer stay if she wanted it (immediately no). All things considered, she's in good spirits and is feeling good. Surprisingly, they don't have her on any heavy duty pain meds or antibiotics - just Tylenol. She's resting and looking forward to being in her own house with her own bed and her own coffee. 

I'll be seeing her Sunday so will likely have more to share after the weekend. I have loads of questions but am going to avoid bombarding her in these first couple of days so that she can focus on rest and relaxation.

If you have sent any words of love or well wishes in general, they are received and immensely appreciated. Kris, if you are reading this, I am wishing you a happy first night home with Stephen and hope you are curling up with a good book, a good meal and hopefully getting some sleep!
